Today, I will write about my experience in university During Inglés subject. I do not like so much the Inglés, but I have always wanted to learn it because i think That it is Very Necessary. In university I started with Inglés level 2 and it was quite easy, most of it things Because I Had Learned in school. However, the Inglés level 3 it was a bit difficult for me Because some activities Were oral presentations as difficult.

Until then I only interested in going to class Inglés Because I wanted to pass all levels and finish With Inglés firstly. However, This year, I have a true interest to learn Inglés, cause I'm boring of Having to study and read papers in Inglés and do not understand. That I think now I appreciate the Inglés class much more than before, I think That Especially using the blog in Inglés class is very useful. The exercise of writing every week is useful to Improve to learn more grammar and vocabulary in an entertaining way.

Despite approve English levels, I don't yet feel ready to be in a place where they speak English and communicate me with they without problems. I think there are several aspects that need to improve in my English: vocabulary, pronunciation, and above all that more difficult is listening. To improve this, I this year I started to taking class the English outside the university, this it helped me to reinforce learning. I really think it's important for me to learn English very well, because outside this class, especially this last year, I had to read many articles in English for my career, which becomes very difficult for me.

2015 balance

This year has-been very good to me in several way; in the university, with my family, with my friends,, Although the last time I lived some nasty things.

This year started very well, in February I went on holiday to the Torres del Paine, south of Chile. This was very entertaining and interesting for me because I met many places and many people from different countries, where usually the common language was English.

After arriving my trip, I entered university, everything was fine, I took the classes that I thought would serve me to serve once graduated from the university career, so I took classes of clinical psychology child and adolescent and legal psychology mainly . I liked it because I start thinking about what I will do after leaving university.

In the academic area I was fine, I'm passing all classes with good grades. In the family area everything is fine too, as well as in the social area, I feel happy and peaceful with the people around me. However, these last two months I have not felt good because with my boyfriend finished and he did not have very good attitudes with me, and it has not allowed me to be quiet.


Nevertheless, time has passed and each day I feel me better, I think that each situation is a opportunity to learn and grow although the situation is very unpleasant and I think that this situation has left me many lessons. I will take what serves me and leave aside what is hurting me. I want to start well next year, I know it will be so because I have very good plans for what is coming.

Summer plans

Today I am going to write about my summer plans.
I think that this summer will be different because will be the first summer in which I will not go holiday. I always worked a month in the summer to go on vacation next month, I did this because I needed save money to travel.

This year I will work only because I need collect a lot of money. I have plans to travel outside the country for another year. I plan to travel to Poland and France, I hope stay there for three month. However, such a trip is very expensive so I collect a lot of money.
I think that I will work since the first day on January and I will not stop working until June.  This Thursday I will go to leave my CV the Patio Bellavista because I want to work there as a waitress, I have heard that the gratuities are good.


Althought I believe that working all summer, I hope to escape one week in southern Chile, because there live my parents and my brothers. I would disconnect from the city and to go to the field with my family. Go where my parents is also an activity that usually I do every summer, so I would not like stop of visit for I am working.

Finally, I think that although this summer I will not have a holiday very good as in previous years, I will have my vacation the other year when I go to Poland and France.

Today I’m going to talk about Facebook. Personally, I visit Facebook every day, but I don’t be dependent of this website. Generally, I visit facebook to talk with my friends, find out what has happened to them, see pictures, know about news, etc. I do it when I haven't else to do or when i'm bored, i don't visit facebook always that use the computer.

I think facebook has many advantages such as allowing you to communicate with people around all the world easy and freely, you can inform about what is happening with your friends,also would be used to organize events or groups homeworks for school or university, talk with old friends whom you have moved away, share pictures, etc. In summary, facilitates communication and transmission of information effectively.

However, it also has disadvantages, such as lack of privacy when people share everything that happens in their lifes, especially when they share information such as addresses, or the numbers of their phones, etc. this can  be used to scam or rob those people. Also, some people don't know all the "friends" they have on facebook, and we all know that talking to strangers and especially the web, can be dangerous xD


However, I think that if people are careful with the information they share, facebook is harmless. Personally, i like to see the post of my friends and comment when something strikes me as funny, I like to share pictures about some moments with family or friends. I do it because I find it fun and it's good to keep contact with people that i don't see daily.

Environment

Hello!

Today, I will talk about the environment. It’s common to see on television or on social networks, news about how the environment is deteriorating more and more. Especially in any places of Chile such as Santiago that is home to many people, have many cars, companies that pollute, etc.
Although this topic is too known, there are very few people who do something to change the situation. Most people aren’t careful with the environment. I think that this is a cultural topic. Because Chile isn’t an ecological culture, this may be due to lack of information on where and how to recycle. There are some environmental organizations but very few, and although installed containers for recycling in the city, they aren’t used properly.

Personally, I haven’t contributed to the care of the environment. To transport me to college, I always use the bus (because it is far to walk, and I haven’t bike), but when I go to another place, I always try to do it walking.
I have never joined an eco-organization because I don’t know any, nor have I sought to inform me about them.
I don’t do much to care for the environment. But I try to reduce carbon footprint not using aerosols that damage the ozone layer, turning off and unplugging appliances that I’m not using, not throwing garbage anywhere, saving water, etc.

I think that to increase environmental awareness, should be more information about how to recycle, education about the correct use of containers (to recycle), and finally, is necessary the motivation of society to recycle.

My future job

Hello!

Today I will write about my future job and the problems that could present.

I think that to I will work in the implemtation of the restaurative justice, It is`nt necesary have much experience practice because is a new idea, therefore it is´nt exist experience practice previously. However, is very important have a good formation in this topic, is necesary know the diffenets models that there.

Mainly I hope work in Chile, however, I hope travel to Canada to work there´s and learn more.

If this form of justice is established in Chile, I would not have problem with work outside of Santiago, actually I like me.

If it is implement in Chile, I hope work like mediator of the conflict between the parts. I would need to apply skills of listenig, of containment (to victim and offenders), of impartiality becouse is very important that I don´t do differences and I don´t favour to one about other, they must feel in equality of condition.

The true that I don´t know about the job interview, I don´t know that would ask me.

In respect of my fear I think it could be very difficult for me to bear tales of the victim amd offenders, everyone they will have different stories and may feel emotionally upset, I think that if I want to devote to this I have to handle my emotions.

My future job

In this fifth post, I will write about my future job.

I think that my future job will be in the are legal psychology, specially in the area of restorative justice.
The restorative justice, is a new form of justice. With this we can return the conflict to the  affected persons, the offenders and the victim. The idea is that the offenders could correct the damage caused to the victim. Exists different programs that make this posible, for example, mediations, family conference, circles of the peace, among others.

Since 1980, in Europe and anglosaxon countries started implementing programs of restorative justice. In general, this form of justice has had very good results.

Nowadays,  the restoratieve justice isn´t developed in Chile, however, exists someone initiatives in this area.
I would like to travel to Canada, New Zealand, or Australia because there is where exists bigger development of the topic. So, I would like to travel to learn more about this topic and try to implement in Chile.
For the previous reason , I think that first I will work investigating about the possibility of implementing this type of justice in Chile.
About the salary, I haven`t thought it. I hope that my job is a contribution to society.

My favorite movie

In this free topic blog I will tell about my favorite movie. His name is "The Skin I live in."
The skin I live in, is a film directed by Pedro Almodóvarm whose filming completed in 2010 and was releases on September 2, 2011.
The director said: "I can´t qualify this flim in a genre, because I usually mix many genre, and this movie is a mix of genre".
The main actors are Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya. Pedro Almodóvar initially thought to give the main role to Penélope Cruz, but had problems of the time, so give the role to Elena Anaya.
He has received four awards Goya and British BAFTA best foreign film.

The plot of this film begins since his wife burned in a car accident, the doctor Ledgard Rober (Antonio Banderas), an eminent plastic surgeon, has been interested in creating a new skin that he could have saved her. After a few years, he manages to grow in its own laboratory, a skin that is sensitive to caresses, but a real shield against all the attacks, both external and internal.

I like this movie because it is an interesting and original story, the ending is the best because it is unexpected.

My favourite technological object.

Hello!

In this blog, I will speak about my favourite technological object. This piece is my mp4, although now there are more technological gadgets, I prefer this one.

I got this piece three years ago; I bought an mp4 because that had previously was spoiled. I like it because it is very portable.

I use it daily because I love music, it accompanies me to many places, I go out of home and I put my headphones.

I consider that my favorite piece is the mp4, because there I keep the best songs, such as songs of mogwai, al green, chopin, yann tiersen, radiohead, Norah Jones… among other.

The mp4 also helps to keep my reports, essays, papers and my family files such as photos and videos, it has great sentimental value.

waht life would be like without it? I don´t think it´s the end, however I look for another apparatus that could replace the need of listening to music. Before it was very difficult to carry music, because the apparatus of music were very large, today we are fortunate that technology is advancing rapidly.

 

My best holidays

Today I´ll write about my best holiday. Which were the last one. it started on February 3, 2015. My cousin and I agree to travel together. We planned this travel for a long time, and we decided to go to Torres del Paine.

We started our adventure in Osorno. There we took a bus to Pta. Arenas. We traveled 27 hours by bus. It was very exhausting.

We arrive in Pta. arenas and then, we took another bus to Pto Natales. There was another cousin who lived there welcome us. After three days, we took a bus to Torres del Paine. We had planned to stay there for seven days, however we stayed for ten days.

All the walk was by trakking, and it was very exhausting. The landscapes were amazing, we saw native forest, glaciers, condors, foxes among other things. Also, we made a lot of friends from diferrents countries, they were from Germany, Portugal, USA and Chile. It was funny to listen to so many languages. Now I realize that I must learn english, because most of my new friends spoke english, so it was difficult for me to speake with them.

The most important reason to consider this trip as my best holidays is the fact that I kwen a lot of people from different countries, because although I visited only one place, my new friends made me visit others only by their stories.

I was very very happy in Torres del Paine, I hope I´ll go back someday!

Introducing myself

Welcome to my firts blog. Today I´ll write about myself. I´m going to introduce myself.
My name is Lucía Díaz. I am twenty one yeard old. I study psychology in Universidad de Chile, and I am in fourth year.
I am very happy studing this. I like my profession, specially the area of legal psychology. I think that I would work in this area with young offenders.

Nowadays I live with my three sisters in  Santiago city. We are very closed to each other. My parents live in Cauquenes because of job reasons, but they travel always to see as.

An important aspect of me, is that I love travelling, I have traveled for almost all Chile. I have visited some places the north, for example; Coquimbo, Serena, Bahia Inglesa, San Pedro de Atacama, Arica,  and the south I have visited, Temuco, Osorno, Pta. Arenas, Torres del Paine, among other. I hope to travel to Europe next year.
